I would think home sales are down all over the US. Still, people need homes and it’s good the market favors buyers.

Its no wonder with the housing collapse and the outlook for the economy as a whole that people on average want smaller homes that are going to come with smaller mortgages that they are more likely to be able to afford going forward.

Best thing about using a buyers agent is that the seller is paying for their services. That is, the seller’s agent is going to be sharing their commission with the buying agent, so why not take advantage of their services?

I have had a small home for years (less than 1,000 square feet) and when I first decided to downsize from my much larger home people actually questioned my judgement. Now, the tables have turned and I am considered trendy or “green”… it’s just funny how things change.
Really, I just wanted something that was affordable and could fit my family.
